One Fly - Swatted!

The ABC has informed us that they have had to change their plans for FLY TV.

They will now be providing full prime time captioning on FLY, starting immediately. This means that the funding that was allocated for a Deaf producer to produce deaf content now has to be used for captioning. Deaf Australia is aware that some other organisations were opposed to our original agreement with the ABC. We will continue to work with the ABC to try to get Auslan onto FLY.
