Executive Officer: Karen Lloyd AM, BA, DipLib; E-mail: karen.lloyd@deafau.org.au; Karen reports directly to Deaf Australia's President and the Board. She is responsible for the overall management of Deaf Australia. She represents Deaf Australia on committees and at forums and meetings with government, industry and service providers, and makes submissions on behalf of Deaf Australia. Karen works full-time.; She is based in the Brisbane office.

Policy Officer: David Parker, BE (Electrical), Cert IV Assessment & Workplace Training; E-mail: david.parker@deafau.org.au; David is responsible for the Deaf Telecommunications Access and Networking (DTAN) project. He liaises with the national community on a range of issues and organises/conducts information and events including the website, community consultations, community development and the National Week of Deaf People (NWDP). He is the webmaster for the Deaf Australia and Next Generation NRS websites and he enjoys fiddling with computer software and hardware.; David works part time - Monday to Wednesday only. He is based in the Sydney office.

Training Co-ordinator: Rachel Byrnes, Dip Human Services (Community Services), Cert IV Assessment & Workplace Training; E-mail: rachel.byrnes@deafau.org.au; Rachel provides information and training about Deaf people to the wider community – Auslan classes, Deaf Deaf World workshops, Deaf Awareness Information. She also trains Deaf people involved in the delivery of DDW and Deaf Awareness Information.; Rachel works four days per week. She is based in the Brisbane office.

ASC Consultant: Donovan Cresdee, PhD; E-mail: donovan.cresdee@deafau.org.au; Donovan is responsible for developing the ASC (Auslan Short Courses) course materials including curriculum framework, syllabus design and teaching / learning resource materials. He also collaborates with Neil Wood, the Course Co-ordinator.; Donovan works full time. He is based in the Brisbane office.

ASC Co-ordinator: Neil Wood, Dip Auslan Teaching, Cert IV Assessment & Workplace Training; E-mail: neil.wood@deafau.org.au; Neil co-ordinates the Auslan Short Courses for Queensland school communities, and provides support and training for ASC teachers.; Neil works full time. He is based in the Brisbane office.

Products Design: Michelle Brennan, BA; E-mail: michelle.brennan@deafau.org.au; Michelle is involved with the development of materials.; Michelle works full time. She is based in the Brisbane office.

Office Administrator: Gaye Lyons; E-mail: gaye.lyons@deafau.org.au; Gaye is responsible for the day to day administration of the organisation and is the first point of contact for inquiries. She also co-ordinates the annual Dorothy Shaw Young Writers Competition for young people who are Deaf or hard of hearing.; Gaye works full time. She is based in the Brisbane office.
