Support Deaf Australia

You can help by your

Deaf Australia State Branches

State branches work in a similar way as Deaf Australia but focus on state and local issues while Deaf Australia looks after national issues. State branches also organise social activities.

State branches have their own constitution and make their own decisions. Deaf Australia works with and offers assistance to state branches when requested.

It is individual members who make up the whole of Deaf Australia. It is not the Board of Deaf Australia, nor Deaf Australia staff, but individual members who are the backbone of Deaf Australia.

Individual members are the reason Deaf Australia exists. Members belong to both Deaf Australia and their state branch. Ordinary (Deaf) members can vote at both Deaf Australia and their state branch meetings.
